About The Position

The Picking/Packing Associate physically fills customer orders by verifying products and quantities and handling materials picked and prepared for shipment. The role also includes picking and putting away items in bins in a way that prevents damage or cross-contamination, maintaining carts and supplies, and performing housekeeping and cleaning. The associate may support other departments when needed based on work volume.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Some work experience, but less than one year.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Physically fill customer orders by verifying products and quantities and handling picked materials prepared for shipment.
• Read and use an RF unit.
• Pick and put away items in bins to prevent damage or cross-contamination.
• Maintain carts and supplies as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning.
• Support other departments when needed according to work volume.
