About The Position

The Packing Associate works in a manufacturing environment, packaging products in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, FDA regulations, and CGMP guidelines. The role supports smooth operations and high-quality output by operating packaging machinery and hand tools, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, safely moving materials, keeping the packing area organized, and assisting with inventory and assembly. The position may involve variable hours, weekends, overtime, and work in other departments.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform bending, stooping, and hand-use tasks.
• Ability to work variable hours and some weekends; overtime is required.
• Willingness to work in other departments as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse experience or a manufacturing background.
• Familiarity with packaging processes and assembly operations.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
• Understanding of GMP standards and FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble, pack, and prepare products for shipment.
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure products meet quality standards, including FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using mechanical knowledge and perform routine maintenance.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and documentation of packaged goods.
• Support assembly processes as needed and ensure items are correctly prepared for packaging.
