About The Position

Dempsey Uniform is hiring a Mat Packing Associate (also described as a Mat Roller) near Scranton, Pennsylvania. This full-time, first-shift role prepares mats for customers by lifting, rolling, and carrying them in the facility and meeting production standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with no scheduled weekends. Starting pay is $18.20 per hour. Employees are expected to perform assigned duties safely and in accordance with OSHA standards, promptly report unsafe conditions or practices to management, and perform other duties as assigned. The position has physical requirements that may include standing for up to 10 hours per day, bending, twisting, squatting, repetitive hand motions, and lifting at least 15 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a highly reliable work performance record.
Must pass pre-employment checks, including a background check and drug screen.
Must have reliable transportation to report to work as scheduled.
Must meet the physical requirements, which may include standing for 10 hours per day, bending, twisting, squatting, repetitive hand motions such as grasping, and lifting a minimum of 15 pounds.

Responsibilities
