About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a first-shift Warehouse Package Handler at its distribution center at 1500 N. River Road in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The starting pay is $20.13 per hour, with two pay raises during the first year. Pay scales with production and efficiency. No prior experience is required, and a dedicated training team provides job training.

The work involves processing warehouse orders and requires being on your feet for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 100 pounds. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. The shift begins at 6:45 AM and runs until work is finished; shift length may vary with work volume. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed, and to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must be able to remain on feet for the shift and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process warehouse orders to support delivery to customers.
