About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler for its distribution center at 1500 N. River Road in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The role supports order processing and delivery to customers and includes hands-on warehouse work. Employees are on their feet for the duration of the shift and lift packages weighing up to 100 pounds. No prior experience is required; a dedicated training team provides job training. Starting pay is $20.13 per hour, with two pay raises during the first year. Pay scales with production and efficiency. The regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off. The first shift begins at 6:45 AM and runs until finish; shifts may vary based on work volume. Employees must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed, and work in extreme cold or hot conditions. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to handle labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, benefits and update information, paperwork, and verbal instructions.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
