Warehouse Package Handler
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring Package Handlers to support warehouse operations. Package Handlers contribute to the smooth functioning of the warehouse, with a focus on quality and adherence to safety protocols to help maintain a productive and secure work environment. The role involves unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, and loading trucks for deliveries. Employees work as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shift hours may vary based on business needs, and a shift ends when all required sort work and cleanup activities are complete, as directed by site management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stay on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions where temperatures vary by season, including heat and cold.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety practices; safety is the company's first core value.
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to get the job done.
