About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees warehouse, procurement, and purchasing operations while driving inventory efficiency, financial performance, and operational excellence. The role leads and develops the team, implements inventory and cost-control strategies, and maintains a safe, organized, and efficient operation that supports departmental goals and business growth.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Previous warehouse management experience within a hotel, resort, casino, distribution center, or similar large-scale operation.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, purchasing, vendor management, inventory controls, and warehouse distribution processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse, procurement, and purchasing operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of goods and supplies.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members; establish performance expectations, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Manage inventory levels, product usage, par levels, replenishment, and deadstock, and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
• Motivate, train, and lead Warehouse Department staff to establish a positive and safe work environment.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and stock rotation, ensure product expiration dates are inspected, and oversee returns to the warehouse or vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to support purchasing needs, resolve operational challenges, and improve service efficiency.
• Work closely with the Director of Warehouse and property supervisors to ensure a strategic and proactive mindset.
• Maintain accurate inventory using WMS/ERP workflows and cycle counts in collaboration with Inventory Control.
• Prepare weekly staffing and business-related schedules.
• Assist the Inventory Control Department with daily inquiries and inventory reconciliations.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with OSHA safety standards, company policies, and established procedures, including safe equipment operation, material handling, and storage practices.
