About The Position

As the Overnight Manager for In-Room Dining at The Cosmopolitan, you will oversee overnight room service operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences. This hands-on leadership role involves inspiring the overnight team and ensuring efficient operations, elevated service execution, and an exceptional luxury dining experience. You will deliver personalized service by understanding guests’ needs and creating seamless experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts.
• Experience in the hospitality industry and experience in scheduling and staffing.
• At least 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• College education in a related field and/or equivalent work experience in food and beverage.
• Must work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the Culinary Union Bargaining Agreement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in developing and monitoring fiscal budgets, division operations, and marketing strategies to support short- and long-term profitability.
• Lead the development, execution, and measurement of guest service standards consistent with company service standards and brand attributes.
• Build positive guest relations, maintain rapport with restaurant patrons, respond to requests, and meet guest expectations to support the restaurant’s reputation and return business.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure guests’ special culinary requests are met.
• Respond to unusual events or circumstances requiring high-level management attention and inform the VP and Executive Director of Food and Beverage of situations requiring their attention.
• Lead and inspire the overnight team while overseeing room service operations and service execution.
