About The Position

The Warehouse Material Handler II performs physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The role is based at the company’s site in Hillsboro, Oregon, and is described as 50% active work and 50% computer work. The position involves handling incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining inventory and shipping records, preparing kits for production, and supporting manufacturing operations. Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, must be worn while on duty.

Requirements

Two to five or more years of experience working in a warehouse role that includes data entry.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to solve problems independently.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation skills.
Knowledge of and proficiency with computers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Good communication skills.
Reliable attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk or stand for the duration of the shift.
Must use required personal protective equipment while on duty, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

Unpack and check received goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items.
Verify the quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.
Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
Prepare kitting packages for production.
Conduct physical inventory counts.
