About The Position

Warehouse employees help ensure products are ready for shipment to ABC’s 125+ stores. The Warehouse Dock Worker supports accurate and effective shipping operations in a physically demanding environment where productivity and safety standards must be met. This role prepares pallets, verifies loads, handles cases, and uses a sit-down forklift to load trucks as needed. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays regularly scheduled off. Hours and days may fluctuate based on business needs, and greater flexibility and availability are required during the October–December peak season. Occasional schedule adjustments, nights, and weekends may be needed during busy seasons. The warehouse is not temperature-controlled and can be humid; fans are provided. Work involves frequent use of moving mechanical parts, frequent work at heights greater than six feet, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and usually moderate-to-loud noise. The position requires prolonged standing, lifting cases, reaching, climbing, and moving throughout the warehouse.
