About The Position
Sizemore, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Industrial Cleaners for a warehouse in Opa-Locka, Florida. The role involves cleaning warehouse areas and flooring, removing waste and packing materials, maintaining janitorial equipment, and operating waste-processing equipment as needed. The listed pay rate is $17.50 per hour, described as a limited-time seasonal rate. Available schedules are Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with shifts listed as 6:00 AM–5:00 PM. Overtime may be required, and working conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments and changing weather.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must pass a 7-year background check and drug test.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Remove and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and similar materials.
- Clean flooring using push or backpack vacuums, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow labeling and dilution guidelines.
- Maintain janitorial equipment in safe, operational condition.
- Operate equipment such as augers, balers, and waste compactors as needed.
- Report irregularities and uphold company and client policies.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
