About The Position

Waste Connections is hiring a Front Load Driver at its hauling site in Opa Locka, Florida. The driver operates a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. The role requires safe and efficient truck operation, use of electronic route sheets, customer interaction, and physically demanding work that includes lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.

Requirements

• Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• At least 2 years of stable work history, with the most recent position being a CDL driver.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Clean driving record for the last 5 years.
• Ability to operate a garbage truck safely and efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and loading waste.
