About The Position
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G600 Captain for an operation at KOPF airport in Opa Locka, Florida. The role calls for a standout colleague committed to excellence, safety, service, and integrity while meeting clients’ travel needs. The captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and for conducting flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. The position requires on-call availability and annual ICAO international procedures training. The candidate must live within a two-hour drive of KOPF or be willing to relocate.
Requirements
- 3,000 total flight hours.
- 1,500 PIC hours.
- 1,500 MEL hours.
- 500 MEL PIC hours.
- 500 hours in Turbo Jet.
- 250 instrument hours.
- Type rating on a Gulfstream G600 or comparable aircraft.
- First-class medical certificate.
- Availability to work on an on-call basis.
- Ability to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
- Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or willingness to relocate.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Gulfstream G600 safely.
- Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
- Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
- Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
