About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator receives, stores, cleans, repairs, displays, and disposes of non-cash items, and helps maintain the interior and exterior of the Thrift Store in a clean and orderly manner. The position reports directly to the Thrift Store Manager and is eligible for overtime pay. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, as required by Florida law.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Successfully complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Regularly lift up to 100 pounds.
Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, listening, talking, using hands and fingers, reaching, and occasional climbing or balancing, as well as extensive stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Have close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive, store, clean, and repair donated items.
Arrange display and storage areas to maximize utilization.
Help keep the store and surrounding grounds clean and orderly.
Assist with loading and unloading items.
Understand the non-cash gifts process and operation of the Thrift Store.
Pick up and transport donated items.
Issue non-cash receipts to donors.
Assist with checkout lanes as needed.
Assist customers and donors promptly and courteously.
Assist with administrative duties as needed.
Represent the Youth Ranches and Sheriffs Ranches Enterprises positively to donors, customers, and the public, and provide exceptional customer service.
