About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Warehouse Clerks for Yellowstone General Stores in West Yellowstone, Montana, for the 2027 spring/summer season. The role covers shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. Yellowstone General Stores operate at locations throughout Yellowstone National Park, including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. Employee housing options, an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in the park are offered.

Requirements

At least 1 year of warehouse work experience.
Experience receiving goods using a data-entry system, inventorying, and shipping.
Computer knowledge and good communication skills.
Basic math skills and the ability to handle counts accurately.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand all day.
Frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching.

Nice To Haves

Retail experience and knowledge of merchandise receiving processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and NetSuite.

Responsibilities

Enter receiving data.
Follow up with vendors and receivers to obtain additional information about receiving invoice data.
Pay close attention to invoices, prices, and costing to maximize margins and comply with the NPS 48 pricing structure for grocery items.
Unload, unpack, and inspect product shipments; report damage, missing items, or inconsistencies.
Price items using appropriate markups and labeling for inventory control.
Help maintain merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers in the inventory system.
Assist with physical inventories and inform a supervisor of low or excessive stock.
Perform other assigned duties.
