2nd shift Warehouse Clerk Freezer & Perishable Only Facility
About The Position
The Warehouse Clerk verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments. The position prepares shipping and routing documents, records shipment information for reporting and recordkeeping, and communicates with establishment representatives to resolve shipment problems. The role is based at a freezer and perishable-only facility in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and is scheduled for a second-shift, four-day, 10-hour schedule. The advertised pay is $19.00 per hour. Travel is not required. The work environment may include freezer conditions from -20°F to 0°F, perishable warehouse conditions from 28°F to 60°F, grocery warehouse conditions from 50°F to 90°F, and office temperatures from 65°F to 75°F. Overtime and the ability to work the overnight shift are required.
Requirements
- At least six months of warehouse experience.
- Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required.
- Qualifications listed include attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and values.
- A General Equivalency Diploma or High School Diploma is listed among the qualifications.
Nice To Haves
- Pallet jack experience is preferred.
- Experience in grocery selection is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products.
- Record shipping data, including weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping.
- Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to resolve problems such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
