Warehouse Clerk - 2nd Shift
About The Position
As a Warehouse Clerk, you provide administrative support to the transportation team and perform general office duties related to distribution reporting, shipping and receiving documentation, and fulfillment. The role supports the company’s mission of helping feed local families and communities. The position pays $22.50 per hour and is scheduled for second shift on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Travel is not required. Work may take place in a grocery warehouse with temperatures from 50°F to 90°F and an office with temperatures from 65°F to 75°F.
Requirements
- At least six months of warehouse experience.
- Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Nice To Haves
- Pallet jack experience is preferred.
- Experience in grocery selection is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Release routes, print selection labels, and organize them by departure and commodity type.
- Take store phone calls and orders, and assist with add-ons, memos, and outs.
- Perform data entry and monitor system information, notifying supervisors when adjustments are needed.
- Provide customer service.
- Prepare store mail for delivery.
- Pick up selector scratches and buyer chases, create invoices, attach orders to routes, and release routes and print labels.
- Audit inbound receiving, print labels, reconcile and note overages, shorts, and damage, and close out purchase orders.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
