Seasonal Warehouse Associate (18.50 per HOUR)
About The Position
Adorama Shipping is hiring seasonal Warehouse Associates to support warehouse operations. Associates accurately and efficiently receive product shipments, stock inventory, pick products, pack orders, and ship them to salons while meeting company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Duties may vary from day to day, and other duties may be assigned as necessary. Work includes picking products with an RF scanner from shelving, carton flow racks, forward case pick, and replenishment/put-away locations; preparing and packing boxes; loading trucks; operating power equipment to move product throughout the warehouse; unloading and processing inbound merchandise and returns; and performing inventory-control tasks. The warehouse may be non-air-conditioned, and the position requires physical activity throughout shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50+ pounds.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including in a non-air-conditioned warehouse.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb using ladders.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more per shift.
- Must be able to meet all productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products with an RF scanner from warehouse locations and place them in containers on a conveyor belt.
- Open replenishment boxes and deposit products at appropriate picking locations.
- Organize and properly pack picked boxes for shipping.
- Load trucks with palletized products and/or products from the conveyor line.
- Safely operate power equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
- Unload and break down inbound product, receive merchandise, and process returns.
- Perform parcel quality-control inspections, cycle counts, location error adjustments, product transfers, reports and queries, consolidation, error investigations, and item and location maintenance.
- Meet company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
