Seasonal Warehouse Associate (19.00 per HOUR)
About The Position
Adorama Shipping is hiring seasonal Warehouse Associates to support warehouse operations. Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving product shipments, stocking, picking products, packing orders, and shipping to salons while meeting company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Workers may perform any of the listed functions on a given day, and other duties may be assigned as necessary. The role includes picking products with an RF scanner from locations such as shelving, carton flow racks, forward case pick, and replenishment/put-away areas, then placing picks in containers on a conveyor belt. Associates also open replenishment boxes and place their contents at the appropriate picking locations; organize and pack boxes for shipping; load trucks with palletized products or products from a conveyor line; operate power equipment to move products throughout the warehouse; unload and process inbound merchandise and returns; and perform inventory control tasks.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Basic communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including in a non-air-conditioned warehouse.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb using ladders.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more per shift.
- Ability to meet all productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products using an RF scanner from designated warehouse locations and place them in containers on a conveyor belt.
- Open replenishment boxes and place products at appropriate picking locations.
- Organize and properly pack picked boxes for shipping.
- Load trucks with palletized products and/or products from a conveyor line.
- Safely operate power equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
- Unload and break down inbound products, receive merchandise, and process returns.
- Perform parcel quality-control inspections, cycle counts, location error adjustments, product transfers, reports and queries, consolidation, error investigations, and item and location maintenance.
- Meet company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and productivity targets.
