About The Position

Adorama Shipping is hiring seasonal Warehouse Associates to support warehouse operations. Associates are responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving product shipments, stocking, picking products, packing orders, and shipping orders to salons while meeting company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Duties may vary by day, and other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Work may include picking products with an RF scanner from shelving, carton flow racks, forward case pick, and replenishment or put-away locations; packing orders for shipment; loading trucks; operating power equipment to move products throughout the warehouse; unloading and processing inbound merchandise and returns; and performing inventory-control activities. The warehouse is not air-conditioned, and the role involves physical activity, including standing for extended periods and lifting, pushing, or pulling heavy items.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including in a non-air-conditioned warehouse.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb using ladders.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more per shift.
• Ability to meet all productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products using an RF scanner from warehouse locations and place them in containers on a conveyor belt.
• Open replenishment boxes and place their contents at appropriate picking locations.
• Organize and properly pack picked boxes for shipping.
• Load trucks with palletized products and/or products from a conveyor line.
• Safely operate power equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Unload and break down inbound products, receive merchandise, and process returns.
• Perform parcel quality-control inspections, cycle counts, location-error adjustments, product transfers, reports and queries, consolidation, error investigations, and item and location maintenance.
• Meet company safety, quality, and productivity standards.
