About The Position

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler supports holiday package operations at OnTrac’s Denton, Texas facility. The role involves safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, helping ensure they reach their destinations safely and on time, and maintaining an organized workspace. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The position is temporary and seasonal, running from October 27 through January 1. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, depending on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

The role pays $18.00 and is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Shift options run across different combinations of weekdays and weekends, with hours of 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or until the sort and required cleanup are complete. Hours may vary based on business needs. The position requires physical package handling and work in warehouse temperatures that may be hot or cold.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages and stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures and work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
