About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works in the Production department at The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Boulder, Colorado. This full-time role involves sorting and processing donations, receiving and stocking inventory, maintaining the donation area, inspecting products, and directing items to the appropriate department. The position pays $16.82 per hour and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort donations for processing in accordance with Salvation Army standards and policy.
• Receive, unload, and accurately and efficiently stock incoming inventory.
• Maintain the area in and around the donation trailer or pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Inspect products for defects and damage as part of quality assurance.
• Identify products and direct them to the proper department for processing.
• Follow safety measures established by Salvation Army policy and government regulations.
