About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for its Waterworks location in Fort Myers, Florida. The position involves working both inside a warehouse and outdoors in a pipe yard, where most of the products are located. Outdoor work is year-round and exposes associates to all weather conditions and temperatures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed. The role is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. The listed pay range is $17.41–$26.11 per hour; starting pay may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

General computer skills for basic data entry.
Ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs. by hand and 50 lbs. or more using equipment.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Must complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory.
Forklift operator experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate stand-up forklifts, including order selectors or cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
Work outdoors year-round in the pipe yard in all weather conditions.
Accurately and promptly receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Receive and store inventory effectively.
Follow all safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
