About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for its Waterworks location in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves working both in a warehouse and outdoors in a pipe yard, where most products are stored. Outdoor work takes place year-round in all weather conditions and temperatures. The starting wage is $22 per hour and may be higher based on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed.

Requirements

General computer skills for basic data entry.
Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds by hand and 50 pounds or more using equipment.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Pre-employment drug screening and background screening are required.

Nice To Haves

Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Forklift operator experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate stand-up forklifts, including order selectors/cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
Work outdoors year-round in a pipe yard in all weather conditions.
Accurately and promptly receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Receive and store inventory effectively.
Follow safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds.
