About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations for its Waterworks business. The role involves safely preparing outbound customer orders, handling and transporting pallets and packages, using RF technology to process orders, and receiving and stocking incoming materials. The associate is also expected to maintain a clean and safe facility, follow safety requirements, and may perform driver duties.

Requirements

2–5 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management is preferred.
High attention to detail.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter able to learn systems quickly.
Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
At least 18 years old.
Valid state-issued license required.
Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
Accurately and promptly receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
Clean the workspace while working and help keep the facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
Adhere to safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
May perform driver duties and responsibilities.
