About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate for its Waterworks location in Pensacola, Florida. The role includes work in a warehouse and outside in the pipe yard, where most products are stored. Outdoor work is year-round and involves exposure to all weather conditions and temperatures. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed. Requirements

General computer skills for basic data entry.
Ability to carry objects up to 50 pounds by hand and 50 pounds or more using equipment.
Complete pre-employment drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and a sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping.
Work outdoors year-round in the pipe yard in all weather conditions.
Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material accurately and promptly.
Receive and store inventory effectively.
Follow safety regulations and correctly use personal protective equipment, including a safety harness.
