About The Position

The Warehouse Associate handles daily customer order fulfillment within an assigned area of a distribution facility. The role demonstrates safety and operational expertise in a quality- and productivity-driven environment and regularly performs one or more distribution activities, such as order filling, shipping, or receiving. The position may involve assignment across different functions according to business needs and may occasionally require operating a pallet jack. It is a fast-paced, metric-driven role that involves contributing to a safe workplace, communicating with supervisors and coworkers about immediate tasks, and participating in group efforts to improve distribution processes.

Requirements

• Basic ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic math skills, including counting, addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating the internet, using a keyboard, and opening, closing, and saving documents.
• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds infrequently.
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and perform fine manipulation of equipment with the hands throughout work hours.
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces when needed, though infrequently.
• Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good job performance and behavior, as measured by indicators such as teamwork, attendance, quality, and productivity.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including starting early and/or staying until work is complete.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform distribution-related functions as required, including checking, picking, packing, replenishment, bin/bulk order filling or stocking, shipping, receiving/returns, sorting, or loading.
• Accept assignment to other functional tasks, which may occur daily or less frequently.
• Occasionally operate a pallet jack to move product.
• Support a safe work environment through attention to housekeeping and safety.
• Demonstrate commitment to the company's core values.
• Exchange information about immediate tasks with supervisors, leads, and work groups.
• Participate in implementing continuous improvements and contribute ideas and suggestions in a group setting.
• Work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
