About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform material-handling duties in a warehouse. The position involves receiving, loading and unloading materials, preparing customer orders, conducting inventory checks, and using forklift equipment daily. The associate also helps keep the facility clean, organized, and safe, and may assist customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Certified Forklift Operator.
Basic math, organization, and customer service skills.
Fluency in English.
Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
Ability to regularly lift 15–30 lbs and, at certain times, safely lift up to 70 lbs. Tile boxes or other materials longer than 36 inches or weighing more than 70 lbs require a team lift.
Ability to perform the stated physical activities, including standing, using hands, reaching, walking, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Required vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

Three or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Pull and assemble customer orders, and check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct inventory stock checks and daily cycle counts; restock and label vendor products; maintain displays; and move, store, and replenish materials.
Receive and unload inbound materials, process inbound shipments, stock materials, and process customer returns.
Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
Operate forklift equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized facility, including sweeping, removing trash, and performing restroom and general office maintenance.
May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
Follow safety rules and report accidents, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts to management.
Perform other related duties as required.
