About The Position
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse and production operations at a family-owned manufacturing company in Madison, Wisconsin. The role receives, identifies, labels, and stores products from vendors and production teams; organizes and accounts for inventory; pulls materials for production; prepares finished products for shipment; operates warehouse equipment; maintains accurate inventory records; and helps keep the facility safe, clean, and organized. The position suits a dependable, detail-oriented person comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It offers opportunities to take on more responsibility and potentially advance to a supervisory role based on performance, skills, and business needs. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring flexibility to meet shipping and production deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing 35–70 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and meeting shipping deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience using ERP systems.
