About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Associate in Madison, Wisconsin, to support warehouse operations during the holiday season. Associates help maintain a productive and safe work environment by unloading trailers, sorting packages by ZIP code, moving packages, and loading delivery trucks. The role requires physical activity throughout the shift and adherence to safety procedures. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The position is seasonal and temporary, running from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed. The role pays $18.00, offers weekly pay, and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Seven shift-day patterns are offered, with shifts starting at 5:00 a.m. and ending at 7:30 a.m. or at the end of sort. Hours may vary based on business needs. End of sort means completion of required daily sorting work and cleanup as directed by site management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Must be able to meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Ability to repeatedly lift packages; the posting describes packages weighing 30–50 pounds independently, team lifts for packages up to 50 pounds, and elsewhere states items average 50 pounds and may occasionally weigh up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and repeatedly bend, twist, reach, push, pull, squat, and perform physical tasks throughout a shift.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
