About The Position

Wis-Pak is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its logistics and distribution operations in Norfolk, Nebraska. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, tracking inventory and shipments, and completing documentation while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The schedule is 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Pay is $22.90 per hour plus a $1.75 shift differential. Applicants must be authorized to work permanently in the United States; the company does not sponsor employment visas now or in the future. Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.

Requirements

Forklift operation skills and ability to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
Basic computer and scanner proficiency.
Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English at a level necessary to perform the job's essential duties.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 60°F to 90°F or more.
Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

Follow safety, health, quality, food safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
Operate forklifts, pallet-building machines, and yard tractors.
Use barcode scanners and computer systems to track inventory and shipments.
Complete and file required documentation in a timely and organized manner.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
