About The Position
Herff Jones is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate in Arcola. The role involves pulling, packing, and inspecting graduation apparel orders while learning the operation’s production and quality standards, warehouse product lines and processes, and how to train and direct new personnel. Associates must select materials according to quality standards, colors, styles, and shades, and recognize different colors and cloth styles. Starting pay is $18 per hour.
Requirements
- Self-motivated.
- Adequate computer skills.
- Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with job duties.
- Ability to read and comprehend written English.
- Ability to recognize colors and different cloth styles.
- Must be able to work all mandatory overtime.
- Able to carry, push, pull, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Able to stand for 8–12 hour shifts.
- Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.
