About The Position

The Fulfillment Center Associate II prepares auto glass and other parts for distribution to Safelite field operation teams, helping ensure technicians have the right parts to serve customers. The role performs a variety of warehouse functions to meet shipping timelines, including handling and inspecting inventory, operating material handling equipment, preparing pallets, and supporting trailer unloading. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour. The position is seasonal and includes paid training and access to tools and resources needed for success.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience with some material handling equipment, such as a forklift, order picker, or reach truck.
For employees hired to operate the order picker, must weigh under 300 pounds to meet equipment specifications and safety regulations.
Comfort working in varying environmental conditions, including seasonal heat or cold, and remaining stationary for long shifts.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving moving or raising objects weighing up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Operate at least one piece of material handling equipment, such as a forklift, reach truck, or order picker, including equipment raised to heights of up to 40 feet.
Perform daily warehouse tasks, including pallet breakdown and dunnage preparation.
Use handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory.
Follow safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
Maintain a secure and clean work area through general housekeeping.
Build steel pallets and prepare them for inventory replenishment.
Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand.
Perform other duties as assigned.
