Warehouse Associate – Seasonal (2nd Shift)
About The Position
As a Seasonal Warehouse Associate in the Internet Fulfillment Department at a Distribution Center, you will help fulfill Ecommerce orders efficiently and accurately. This is a temporary role lasting approximately three months, with the potential to transition into a permanent associate position with Hot Topic. Available second shifts are Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. During non-peak periods, all shifts work Monday through Friday. The specific shift may vary based on operational needs. During peak season, schedules may be adjusted and overtime could be required. The position pays $19.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

- Previous Distribution Center and/or Internet Fulfillment experience.
Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment using appropriate supplies and packing materials.
- Ensure orders are accurate and inducted in a timely manner.
- Handle shipments efficiently to maintain smooth workflow between workstations.
- Stock new merchandise as it is received.
- Communicate production issues to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those covering safety, cleanliness, and the code of ethics.
- Monitor production supplies and partner with a Supervisor or Team Lead to order additional supplies as needed.
- Follow written departmental procedures and report any necessary changes to a supervisor.
