About The Position
Atria Senior Living is seeking a Waitstaff team member to support residents’ dining experiences by providing customer service and assisting with meal service and dining-room upkeep. The role includes paid on-the-job training, and no prior experience is needed. Atria describes its environment as supportive, with advancement opportunities and a focus on work-life balance. The wage range is $12.00–$14.40 per hour, dependent on prior work history and experience. Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Effective verbal and written English skills.
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food-handling practices.
- No experience needed; on-the-job training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide a high level of customer service.
- Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
- Assist with preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
- Build teamwork with colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
- Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
