About The Position

Atria Senior Living is hiring a Waitstaff team member to support dining services in its senior living community. The role involves serving residents, assisting with meals and events, and maintaining a clean and sanitary dining area. No prior experience is needed; on-the-job training is provided and paid. The position offers a wage range of $10.00 to $12.00 per hour, dependent on prior work history and experience.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Effective verbal and written English skills.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food-handling practices.
• No prior experience is needed; paid on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide a high level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Build teamwork with colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and dining-room equipment.
