Waitstaff (DAY/EVENING SHIFT)
About The Position
Masonicare Health Center – Wright Residence is hiring waitstaff for 32 hours per week, working day/evening shifts and every other weekend. The role includes serving residents in a professional manner, handling multiple tasks, and helping maintain clean, orderly dining areas. Employees are provided uniforms and are expected to follow the department dress code, report promptly for scheduled shifts, and attend scheduled in-services. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions in English.
- Ability to work in a team setting, meet deadlines, and follow processes.
Responsibilities
- Take resident orders and serve tables professionally while handling multiple tasks.
- Participate in daily menu meetings with the Chef and Supervisor to review the evening meal and specials.
- Check the dining room before meals to ensure tables are correct and neat.
- Clear tables, bus dishes to the dish room, and reset tables.
- Follow the post-meal cleaning schedule.
- Wear clean, neat provided uniforms and follow the department dress code.
- Monitor the posted schedule and report promptly for assigned shifts.
- Attend all scheduled in-services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
