About The Position

Wait Staff at Masonicare Health Center - Wright Residence serves residents in a dining setting. The role includes taking and serving resident orders professionally, handling multiple tasks, helping coordinate evening meals and specials, and maintaining dining-room cleanliness and appearance. Employees follow the department dress code, attend scheduled in-services, report for assigned shifts, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
On-the-job training.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions in English.
Ability to work in a team setting, meet deadlines, and follow processes.

Responsibilities

Take residents’ table orders and serve them professionally while handling multiple tasks.
Participate in daily menu meetings with the Chef and Supervisor to discuss the evening meal and specials.
Check the dining room before meals to ensure tables are correctly set and neat.
Clear tables, bus dishes to the dish room, and reset tables.
Follow the post-meal cleaning schedule.
Wear provided uniforms that are clean and neat, in accordance with the department dress code.
Monitor the posted schedule and promptly report to work at the assigned time and date.
Attend all scheduled in-services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
