About The Position

The Waitstaff position is based at Masonicare Health Center – Wright Residence and is scheduled for 15 hours per week, with every-other-weekend work. The role serves residents in a professional manner and requires handling multiple tasks. Availability for all shifts, including every other weekend, is desired. The position requires a high school diploma or GED. On-the-job training is provided. Candidates should be able to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English, work as part of a team, meet deadlines, and follow processes.

Responsibilities

Take residents’ table orders and serve them professionally while handling multiple tasks.
Participate in daily menu meetings with the Chef and Supervisor to review the evening meal and specials.
Check the dining room before meals to ensure tables are correct and neat.
Clear tables, bus dishes to the dish room, and reset tables.
Follow the post-meal cleaning schedule.
Follow the department dress code and wear provided uniforms that are clean and neat.
Monitor the posted schedule and promptly report to work at the assigned time and date.
Attend all scheduled in-services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
