About The Position

Masonicare Health Center – Wright Residence is hiring a Waitstaff employee for an evening shift, 16 hours per week. The role serves residents in the dining room, helps maintain an orderly dining environment, and follows departmental procedures and schedules. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
On-the-job training or experience.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions in English.
Ability to work in a team setting, meet deadlines, and follow processes.

Responsibilities

Take residents’ orders and serve tables professionally while handling multiple tasks.
Participate in daily menu meetings with the Chef and Supervisor to review the evening meal and specials.
Check the dining room before meals to ensure tables are correct and neat in appearance.
Clear tables, bus dishes to the dish room, and reset tables.
Follow the post-meal cleaning schedule.
Wear the provided department uniform in accordance with the dress code and keep it clean and neat.
Monitor the posted schedule and report promptly at the assigned time and date.
Attend all scheduled in-services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
