About The Position

Unidine is hiring a part-time Waiter/Waitress at Talamore Senior Living in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The role takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests. The schedule includes weekday evening shifts from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; weekend day and night shifts are also available. No prior experience is required. The pay range is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, and a free shift meal is offered.

The position is part of the culinary team and involves creating positive dining experiences for guests. The associate greets guests, takes and delivers orders, follows food-safety and sanitation practices, responds to guest needs, and communicates with back-of-house staff and other departments. The associate also helps prepare and maintain the dining room and supports special events and functions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet dining room guests and take food and beverage orders according to established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up with guests and assist with additional needs or requests.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink combinations when requested and accommodate reasonable requests and preferences.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Handle personal or medical information with sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
• Set up the dining room before service and clean and maintain it afterward, meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea and soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
• Work with staff from other departments during special events and functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
