About The Position

Jiga is hiring a VP Sales to build and lead its sales function as the company scales its AI-native manufacturing supplier platform. Jiga connects companies in aerospace, defense, and robotics with machine shops that make complex machined parts. The role focuses on creating a repeatable sales system, developing the team, owning revenue performance, and setting the go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • Have previously built a sales system as the leader accountable for it in a business where successful selling depended on fulfillment teams customers had to trust.
  • Be able to explain the inherited sales funnel, changes made to it, and lessons learned.
  • Have coached sales representatives to improve their performance, including an example of a representative moving from the bottom half to quota attainment.
  • Think in systems and build mechanisms and feedback loops that improve sales performance.
  • Have strong, considered opinions on hiring sales representatives, onboarding during the first 90 days, and performance management.
  • Have a vision for building a $1 billion revenue organization and a thoughtful sequence of actions to work toward it.

Nice To Haves

  • Have two or three salespeople who would be interested in joining the candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Turn the practices of top-performing reps into a consistent sales process used by the whole team.
  • Review sales calls and coach representatives.
  • Hire and scale the sales team using a proven hiring profile.
  • Own the revenue plan, quota, and forecast.
  • Establish the operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, per-rep metrics, and the compensation plan, working with the growth lead on revenue operations.
  • Define target customers, accounts to avoid, and how customer relationships expand from an initial order into a larger program.
  • Bring customer feedback to product, marketing, and supply chain teams so it informs product development and sourcing.

Benefits

  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Annual week-long company offsite; previous locations include Spain, Greece, and Albania.
  • Performance-focused culture that does not count hours and discourages micromanagement and unproductive meetings.
  • Online games with colleagues.
