The role owns strategic account development, executive customer engagement, cross-brand alignment, and disciplined execution to expand account penetration, improve pipeline quality, and convert targeted opportunities into profitable growth. Candidates should be near a major metropolitan airport and able to travel efficiently throughout the territory.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of commercial industry experience working with End-Use accounts, with demonstrated success managing complex Corporate or Strategic Account relationships.
  • Proven sales performance, account growth, pipeline development, and conversion of targeted Strategic Account opportunities.
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior customer stakeholders, including the ability to influence complex decisions across functions and brands.
  • Strong lateral leadership, cross-functional coordination, and enterprise-level selling skills to align teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the South-Central territory.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and with discipline in written and verbal formats.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial flooring experience, particularly in Corporate Workplace, strategic accounts, global accounts, or end-user sales.
  • Demonstrated success growing a substantial commercial sales portfolio through direct engagement with Corporate end users.
  • Experience developing relationships with senior Corporate Workplace decision-makers and understanding how large organizations specify, procure, contract for, and implement flooring solutions.
  • Knowledge of the Corporate Workplace segment, including products, customer buying processes, channels, contracts, and project-delivery requirements.
  • Experience working across multiple markets or locations to grow national or global accounts and convert enterprise agreements into local project activity.
  • Background in a specified, installed commercial-interiors category involved in the construction process; commercial flooring, tile, or closely related hard-surface experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience bringing together sales, marketing, service, operations, and field partners to execute a coordinated account-growth strategy.
  • Residence in Dallas or Austin, Texas; qualified candidates in Houston, Texas, or Denver, Colorado, may also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a strategic account growth plan for a focused portfolio of priority Corporate Workplace accounts, mapping decision-makers through SPPM and defining actions to win new business and expand relationships.

  • Expand penetration in existing strategic accounts, identify compelling events, and pursue targeted prospects with clear potential for alignment and growth.
  • Build and activate a network of in-market sales partners to capture opportunities across the locations and markets served by national and global customers.
  • Align Commercial DVPs, Brand RVPs, sales teams, segment leaders, and marketing partners around account priorities, coordinated pursuit strategies, and consistent execution across Commercial brands.
  • Build lateral influence across Shaw Industries to activate team selling, create brand multipliers, and increase the number and quality of salespeople calling on Corporate clients.
  • Use SFDC, Tableau, and related resources to manage pipeline visibility, track account activity, measure salesforce engagement, and advance targeted accounts through disciplined opportunity management.
  • Guide participation in RFPs, contracts, and customer agreements to improve conversion, strengthen customer alignment, and support profitable long-term growth.
  • Partner with Brand Segment Managers, Brand Marketing Directors, and Shaw service and execution teams to provide the salesforce with account insight, segment knowledge, and coordinated support.
