Opti9 is seeking a strategic marketing leader to build and execute high-impact marketing programs that drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for demand generation, brand building, and creating partner-driven pipeline opportunities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of B2B technology marketing experience, including leadership roles with increasing responsibility
  • Expertise in SEO, PPC, marketing automation, and performance analytics; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Proficiency with marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and related analytics tools
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurement, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Proven success developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, and market expansion
  • Experience in cloud, managed services, SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing marketing organizations and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience evaluating competitive landscapes and developing differentiated market positioning strategies
  • Track record of building strategic marketing plans that support product launches, service offerings, geographic expansion, and business growth
  • Proven success managing marketing budgets, agency relationships, and vendor partnerships
  • Experience creating thought leadership, content marketing, and integrated campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate qualified demand.
  • Strong record of delivering measurable business impact through marketing performance, pipeline contribution, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute Opti9's marketing strategy aligned to Opti9’s growth objectives
  • Establish marketing sourced and marketing influenced pipeline targets
  • Build integrated demand generation programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth
  • Partner closely with Sales to develop lead generation strategies, improve conversion rates, and optimize pipeline performance
  • Analyze marketing effectiveness, campaign performance, and ROI to guide investment decisions and maximize impact
  • Create compelling thought leadership content—including eBooks, blogs, webinars, videos, and other digital assets—that strengthens brand credibility and generates demand
  • Lead the evolution of the Opti9 brand and market positioning, including the successful integration of acquired companies while preserving brand integrity
  • Ensure consistency across all customer-facing messaging, communications, and experiences
  • Partner with Business Development and Sales teams to strengthen brand visibility and market awareness
  • Conduct customer, competitive, brand, and product research to inform strategic decision-making
  • Drive market expansion initiatives, including launch strategies for new geographic regions and target markets
  • Expand and enhance Opti9's digital content and video strategy across multiple channels
  • Oversee website strategy, digital marketing programs, email marketing initiatives, and marketing analytics
  • Support go-to-market strategies for new and existing solutions and services
  • Develop strategic marketing relationships with AWS, Veeam, Microsoft, and other alliance partners
  • Maximize MDF utilization and partner marketing opportunities
  • Lead co-marketing initiatives that generate awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth
  • Own the annual marketing budget and resource allocation
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines
  • Provide strategic leadership across advertising, public relations, social media, events, content, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Develop forecasting models, marketing plans, and brand growth strategies that support business objectives
  • Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance management
  • Establish operational processes, reporting frameworks, and performance dashboards that drive accountability and continuous improvement
