About The Position

The VP Consumer Relationship Manager makes direct consumer and Home Equity loans that meet the Bank’s standards for safety and profitability, promotes strong customer relations, and develops new business, including profitable depository accounts. The role is responsible for sound decisions to extend or deny credit to direct-basis loan applicants and for the terms of credit offered. Work is guided by the Bank’s policies, procedures, and lending limits.

The position performs business development in the retail market area and represents the Bank at social and business events. It has frequent contact with directors, top management, employees, and community leaders. The incumbent is expected to participate actively in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support organizational values, and follow established company policies and procedures. The office location is Conroe, Texas.

Requirements

• At least five years of Consumer Lending experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Excellent communication and human relations skills.
• Seasoned experience in consumer and retail lending, marketing, and management.

Responsibilities

• Make direct consumer and Home Equity loans in accordance with Bank standards for safety and profitability.
• Promote good customer relations.
• Seek and develop quality new business, including profitable depository accounts.
• Decide whether to extend or deny credit to customers seeking direct loans and determine the terms of credit extended.
• Perform business development activities in the retail market area.
• Represent the Bank at social and business events.
• Participate in the Customer Service First sales and service culture, support organizational values, and follow company policies and procedures.
