VP, Consumer Growth

Dockwa•Newport, RI

About The Position

The VP, Consumer Growth owns the strategy and operating plan for growing Dockwa's boater network to one million users and increasing its economic value. The role is accountable for growth forecasting and the economics of acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and membership revenue. The position leads consumer acquisition and activation, including developing repeatable channels such as organic discovery, referrals, partnerships, lifecycle programs, and selective paid acquisition when the economics support it. It also owns Dockwa+ as a business, including positioning, product experience, pricing, conversion, revenue, renewal, and the full subscription lifecycle. The VP will turn marina relationships into a scalable consumer distribution advantage, build partner programs and commercial models, and work with Product and Engineering to improve discovery, search, merchandising, onboarding, and booking. The role is responsible for growing engagement, retention, repeat transactions, booking frequency, and the share of boaters’ activity taking place through Dockwa. The position leads a small team and establishes the operating systems needed to perform at scale, including a weekly scorecard, experimentation process, and quarterly plans tied to company priorities. The role uses data, automation, and AI to accelerate execution and reduce manual work.
