About The Position

The Voluntary Benefits Workload Coordinator supports workload management activities across Voluntary Benefits Claims Operations. This role monitors claim inventory, coordinates work distribution, supports claim activity routing, and helps balance workloads to meet service, quality, and productivity objectives. The coordinator partners with leaders and operational teams to optimize workflow management and support efficient claim processing.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of customer service or equivalent relevant work experience.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret operational data and recommend actions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of products, processes, workflows, and systems used in the area.
Ability to use Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of others on the team.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of college preferred.
Experience with reporting dashboards, workflow management tools, and claim processing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and distribute claim inventory to support operational service levels and business priorities.
Manage daily work allocation of claim activities based on workload demand, capacity, and staffing resources.
Perform claim routing, reassignment, and pre-examination activities to direct work to the appropriate teams.
Review workload queues and dashboards to identify inventory imbalances, processing delays, and workflow issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
