About The Position

Hirsch Pipe & Supply is hiring a VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Service Specialist II for a new location in Huntington Beach. This hands-on, customer-focused position manages inventory at designated customer locations, helps ensure products are stocked and available when needed, and builds strong customer relationships. The specialist works closely with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to support efficient operations and provide outstanding service. The listed pay is $30.00 per hour.

Requirements

Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or wholesale distribution.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer sites.
Basic computer and data-entry skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to customer locations.

Nice To Haves

Experience in plumbing or a related industry.
Knowledge of plumbing products.

Responsibilities

Maintain and restock customer inventories at designated locations to help prevent stockouts and overstock.
Serve as the primary contact for VMI customers, address their needs, and support high customer satisfaction.
Accurately record and submit orders to ensure timely product replenishment.
Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams for efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
Monitor inventory levels, usage trends, and product demand, and provide insights to improve efficiency.
Stay informed about plumbing products and industry trends to assist customers effectively.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
