About The Position

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales and maximizing profitability through visual merchandising in partnership with the Management Team. The role works closely with Operations and Visual Managers to initiate and delegate work and provide team feedback in support of store operations. It requires constant movement throughout the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the Visual Lead takes initiative to help keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.

The Visual Lead oversees visual and operational execution, supports business performance through reporting and metrics, and leads and develops Associates in partnership with store management. The role also collaborates across functions to execute company initiatives and opens and closes the store in accordance with visual standards. Full-time employees are expected to be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts, and to work from the week of Black Friday through the end of the holiday season, in the first week of January.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior work experience in a client-centric sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities and excellent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage key operational functions, including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery and replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising by recovering, restocking, and destocking products and making visual merchandising changes in accordance with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
• Plan visual floor changes with the management team, managing payroll and adapting zones and visual support to business needs.
• Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through completion, meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
• Use reporting tools with management to identify business opportunities involving product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, and make changes as needed.
• Partner with Operations and Visual Managers on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Use business metrics to support strategies that drive results.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
• Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations, guest experience, and visual standards.
• Partner with management to coach, guide, and direct Associates; support recruitment and talent development.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate Associates and provide ongoing feedback that supports individual growth and improvement, in partnership with the store leader.
• Collaborate with the Operations Lead on cross-functional training and with the Sales & Service Lead to support effective business execution.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives with the leadership team to achieve goals and KPIs.
• Open and close the store in accordance with visual standards.
