About The Position

The Operations Lead is a member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving and coaching profitability and efficiency. Working closely with the Operations and Visual Managers, the role initiates and delegates work and provides feedback to help the team achieve optimal results across store operations. The position involves constant movement throughout the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the Operations Lead takes initiative to complete tasks that keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and efficient. The Operations Lead oversees inventory processes and operational functions, supports visual and stockroom standards, and partners with management on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendors, technology, and facilities. The role also directly oversees Operations Associates, including recruitment, development, performance evaluation, and ongoing feedback. The Lead collaborates with other functional leaders on training and executes company directives, projects, and initiatives. The position opens and closes the store according to back-of-house standards.

Requirements

At least 2 years of prior work experience in a client-centric sales environment.
Proven leadership capabilities and excellent decision-making.

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Able to stand and move for an entire shift.
Available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts; schedules may change to support business and team needs.
Able to work from the week of and including Black Friday through the end of the holiday season in the first week of January.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
Investigate and identify root causes of inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
Manage shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
Champion strong visual standards on the sales floor.
Maintain a safe work environment and efficient operations through strong stockroom standards and processes.
Partner with Operations and Visual Managers on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
Use business metrics to support strategies that drive business results.
Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
Directly oversee Operations Associates, including recruiting and developing talent.
Use company performance tools to evaluate Operations Associates and provide ongoing feedback to support growth and improvement, in partnership with the store leader.
Collaborate with the Visual Lead on cross-functional training and with the Sales and Service Lead to ensure the business is well executed.
Execute company-level operations directives, projects, and initiatives with the management team to achieve goals and KPIs.
Open and close the store in accordance with back-of-house standards.
